Wakf Tribunals

The Government had created Waqf tribunal in the state as per section 83 of the Wakf Act. Chapter VIII of the Wakf Act deals with the Judicial Proceedings and in the same the powers and functions of the Wakf Tribunal is dealt in detail. Any mutawallis or any person interested in a wakf or any person aggrieved by an order made by the Board under the Wakf Act or Rules can approach the Tribunal within the time frame prescribed by the Act. The wakf tribunal in the state are situated at Kozhikode.
